Do you even wonder who is behind your favorite photography and vendor pages? I know I do. :) So I thought it would be fun to start a little get to know you. To participate, post on either your personal or business blog a little get to know you with an image and 5 interesting facts about you. I'll start. :)
1. My name is Camilla and I am past my mid twenties, but a little bit from my thirties. :) I love all things pretty. Decor, photography, design, if it's pretty I'll stalk it. I graduated with a BS from Utah State University and some day hope to pursue a masters.
2. I am blessed with a gorgeous husband who likes top rub it in that he is 18 months younger, and a slightly more gorgeous 21 month old baby girl. She is a joy, and a handful. I'm blessed to be her mom! And blessed to have such an incredible family.
3. We have lived in 2 countries, 4 states, and numerous cities, not always together. We adore traveling and being outside. Our dream house will be up a canyon someday, with hiking trails in our back yard.
4. I am a wedding photographer in the Salt Lake area. I delved into newborns for a little bit, but found my passion was partial to only wedding photography so I stopped. What I did love about the newborns were all the props and beautiful things in the image with the precious baby. Thus, Avonli was born. I launched in January of this year, and January 25th I sold my first newborn prop. It's been a crazy journey since then!
5. I served an LDS mission in South America a while back and speak pretty great spanglish. Ok, I'm fluent in Spanish, but I'm super lazy when it comes to the language. ;) I'm obsessed with Jane Austen and would probably have preferred to live in that time period. At least for the dresses. And yes, Avonli is just a spin off of Anne of Avonlea. The cottages come from Jane Austen. :) I'm have a pretty great life, and I'm just happy to live it!
It's nice to meet you!
I would so love to get to know you more. If you want to play, write a quick post and link back to it either in the comments here on this post, or a link in the comments of the facebook status found here.
Thanks for being here!
